Role: Lead Motion Designer / Creative Direction, Script Compression, CGI & Post
Client: Opsydia (direct)
Brief
Explain a complex technology to non-technical stakeholders, clearly, quickly, and with energy that excites prospective clients and investors.
What I did
Script shaping: invited the client to “put everything in,” then compressed a multi-page document into a tight ~40s narrative with crisp beats and benefits.
Animatics: VO-led animatics (scratch VO + temp music) to lock structure, timing, and on-screen logic.
Look-dev & production: lighting, texturing, and Octane rendering in Cinema 4D; designed visuals to demystify the tech while feeling premium.
Post & finish: editorial and audio mix for the final film.
Key responsibilities
Translating complex tech into audience-friendly visuals and language.
Information hierarchy, pacing, and shot design supporting the VO.
Look development, lighting, texturing, rendering, and finishing.
Collaborative approvals from script → animatic → final delivery.
Technical highlights
Cinema 4D animation & scene assembly
Octane look-dev and rendering
Procedural materials, clear lighting for comprehension
VO-timed motion design; edit + audio mix (VO, SFX, music)
Delivery for web/social with clean typographic overlays
Outcome
A concise, visually engaging explainer that clarifies Opsydia’s technology in under a minute, effective for sales, investor conversations, and live demos.
