A–Z Nature Library
Graphic Design × AI

Role: Art Direction · Graphic Design · AI Asset Direction · Retouch/Finish

Brief
Explore how constraints (A–Z, phonics, nature) can sharpen design decisions and demonstrate a production-ready AI workflow that still respects typography, composition, and brand discipline.

What I did

  • Design-first layouts: created monochrome Figma mockups per letter to set type scale, rhythm, and negative space before any imagery existed.

  • AI as a tool, not the driver: prompted, iterated, and constrained AI generations to fit the approved compositions (aspect, lighting, silhouette, detail density).

  • Production finishing: color management, cleanup, and texture control in Photoshop to ensure print/web fidelity; exported master and social variants.

  • One 3D wildcard: a single letter realized in Cinema 4D to test how procedural forms slot into the same system.

Highlights

  • Typography-first approach (phonics emphasis, word–image pairing).

  • Consistent grid and spacing tokens for a cohesive set.

  • Ethical/production lens on AI: bespoke generation, heavy art direction, and final human finish.

Outcome
A cohesive A–Z library that showcases graphic sensibility and AI direction under real production standards, proof that speed and experimentation don’t have to compromise craft.
